Article Submission Conditions
If you would like to submit an article, or information that might be written into a news item for review, please read the following explanatory information, before submitting.
- Articles may contain between 500-1000 words
- Language must be clear and simple. Ensure that you include all relevant details
- The editor retains the right to edit or reject any items submitted
- When you submit your article, while you retain copyright to the content, you give CSL the permission to publish or promote your article
- Submission also means that CSL has been granted the right to use your name in connection with the submitted material. CSL would not use the article other for what it was intended for. Credit will be given to the author in all cases
- Once we have received your article it will be reviewed by our editor who may make recommended changes, or request more information on certain aspects of the article
- Once past this stage the amended article is emailed back to you for your comments and approval. Our aim is to help you produce a top quality article. Our editor will offer suggestions and recommendations to help you achieve that. When the final draft has been approved by you and our editor, the article will be published with your name
- Please ensure that you have exclusive rights to the articles you submit. If you do not own the article, we would request written and signed confirmation from the author. We do not publish articles that have been copied illegally
Types of articles that we would accept include:
- Original articles
- Viewpoints
- Reviews, including book and software reviews
- Tutorial
- Case studies
